Update April 22

Greetings and Heaven-sent blessings in Jesus.

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ"  Eph 1.3

As we praise the Lord for all His benefits, or as the hymn says, "Count your blessings" we can find no stopping place. I can't keep count of all the past blessings, and meantime He continues to pour out more and more. Glory!

We had a good week and seven people came to the Lord in the services. One of the areas where the Lord is blessing strongly is the Buenos Aires neighborhood. Buenos Aires is a poor area of the city, and there is much vandalism along with drug dealing and use. And yet, the Lord is invading the area with His love and power!

Pictures are of Angel, a man who was totally immobile when Pastor Octavioa nd his team first visited their home. As Ocatvio witnessed to him,he received the Lord, indicating it with a blink of the eye. That was all he could move in his whole body. With Angel are my cousin Steve and Pastor Octavio (and Abel - one of our young people.)

Octavio told his a Bible story that led to his salvation. Then Octavio told him healing stories from the Bible. On each visit Angel has shown definite improvement. His wife and several others have come to be followers of Jesus as a result of Angel's healing.

The other photo is of one of the youth of the neighborhood. The Lord is breaking through the drug culture they are prisoners of as Octavio and his team just share Bible stories with them. Some of these young kids have killed for the drug cartel people. Their fee? $500 pesos (almost $50 USD!) There are hundreds of such youth all over the city. How glorious to see the power of God's Word bring deep changes in their hearts, and lives.

God bless you this Lord's Day in His House with His people! And thank you, always, for your prayers for us and the ministry here. Linda is slowly but surely gaining strength...she has a long way to go, but progress is being made! Praise God.
In Him,
Roger & Linda
