Update January 17

Greetings and winter time blessings from Mexico!

Its cold all over the whole country. Probably at least a little cold where you are? This global warming thing is going to freeze us all to death!

Linda and I will be in Sahuayo, Michoacan tomorrow. Joel and Vicky are the pastors there. I had the blessing of presenting Joel to the Lord when he was a baby. Now they have a son - and since we have adopted Joel and Vicky as our own, that makes Darian their son another grandson for us. Right?

Please pray for the trip and services tomorrow. And for Linda who is really not feeling well...but deseprately wants to make the trip.

A report from our church in Acambaro tells of several new believers and a move of God with the young people.Tepic had another person come to the Lord. Angulo? Sorry. No one prayed for salvation last Sunday. We trust tomorrow will be different.

ATTENTION! Somebody invited me to join something called "quepasa". I looked at it and declined. (I am already on Twitter, Facebook, Skype and MSN. Don't need any more chat sites and don't have time for any more.) BUT, apparently they sent an invitation from me to everyone on my contact list. If you didn't get one, great. If you did, PLEASE IGNORE IT. I didn't send it - that website did. It happened once before with a thing called Hi5. SORRY FO THE INCONVENIENCE.

Thank you for your prayers. They are so important to us. God bless you as you worship Him with His people in His House.

In Him,
Roger & Linda West
Grateful Greetings from Mexico!

Grateful for God's faithfulness, goodness and grace!
Grateful for good friends in the family of God.
Grateful for life, health and strength to serve Him!
Grateful to be part of another new year!

Last week we had 6 people pray for salvation here at the Angulo Center church. The Puerto Vallarta pastor reported a whole family of 5 coming to the Lord, and the Tonala Center pastor said they had another five people pray for salvation over there. Praise the Lord. That's what we are here for, and then to help them become disciples of the Lord Jesus!

I shared last week the word the Lord spoke to me on the first day of the new year, "Dramatic." We have already had several dramatic answers to prayers. And we are expecting to see dramatic healings and miracles, too. , please keep praying for us and believing with us for the dramatic things God wants to do here....and there. Where you are!

Pics of the missions conference at the end of the year and Linda's class that gave me a little birthday celebration.

Still much heavy warfare going on here, so your prayers are appreciated there, too.

Have an exciting time at His House with His people today, worshipping Him. He (and only He) deserves it.

In His Love,

Roger & Linda

Update January 3

Bible Promise Greetings with this first 2010 update report. The Bible verse?

Isaiah 58.11 - " Jehovah will guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in dry places, and make strong thy bones; and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not."

I like Francis Havergal's "Another Year is Dawning"
Another year is dawning, dear Father, let it be
In working or in waiting, another year with Thee.
Another year of progress, another year of praise,
Another year of proving Thy presence all the days.
Another year of mercies, of faithfulness and grace,
Another year of gladness in the shining of Thy face;
Another year of leaning upon Thy loving breast;
Another year of trusting, of quiet, happy rest.
Another year of service, of witness for Thy love,
Another year of training for holier work above.
Another year is dawning, dear Father, let it be
On earth, or else in Heaven, another year for Thee.

I have (by God's grace) begun my 77th year and Linda and I are beginning our 44th year in Mexico this week. We moved into Mexico the first week of January, 1967. Four small children and $90 a month support promised. God said "Go" and we did. He has been FAITHFUL through all these years to meet our every need for family and ministry!

God spoke a word to me yesterday about this year. "Dramatic!" Dramatic answers to prayers (some of long standing) and dramatic manifestations of His Power, Love and Glory.

Linda and I pray together daily, and in those prayers remember that one of the great blessings God has given to us is YOU...and others like you - who pray for us and encourage us in so many ways.
May you have a dramatically blessed and exciting year ahead, walking with Him in deep fellowship, clear revelation and great impact on others for the glory of God. May it be a year of health, joy and peace in serving Him and others.

God bless you. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

In Him,
Roger & Linda

Update December 27

Merry Christmas and a Joyful New Year to you.

Its the end of the year and much of Mexico just kind of stops until after the first week of the new year. But we have been busy.

We didn't have anyone receive the Lord last week - disappointing, but 4 new people did come to the Lord in Tepic. Some of the other missions and churches had new people receiving the Lord, also.

We are so grateful for your prayers for us and the Lord's work here in 2009. We need your continued prayers for us in 2010, too.

If you have 6 minutes to invest in listening to this video, it will most assuredly bless you to hear Dr Lockridge talk out our King.

God bless you.
