Update November 21

Thanksgiving greetings from Mexico.

"O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people." Ps 105.1

We had three people come to the Lord last Sunday - One at Angulo, one at the Tepic mission and one at the Estadio mission.

We have had several healing testimonies recently, as well. Last Sunday a first time visitor was listening to the message on the Lord's Supper. As I explained that healing was a part of our redemption, and that the bread repesented His Body, which was bruised for our healing, he felat some strange sensations in his sick body.

Then as we partook of the elements, he ate the bread, and the Lord touched him and healed him. Praise God.

Pray for Mexico in the drug war mess. Another US Consulate email was received this week warning of travel in certain areas (several in our part of the country.) Gun battles, kid-nappings, false police and military road-blocks, etc.

I ask you to join me in "standing in the gap" and standing between the plague and the people as Aaron did.

Pray for the mayors, police officers and military people...they are major targets, along with pastors and businessmen. God is our shield. Prayer is our strength.

Tonight, Saturday, there is a city-wide youth meeting to be held at the Angulo facilities. Please pray for Guadalajara's youth. There are over 500,000 of them! (We won't have that many in the service...:-) but those we will have can become key to winning many more.)

Linda still needs prayer - against a chronic sinus infection. We know healing is hers - and will be manifest soon. Thanks for your prayers.

Have a blessed day in Father's House tomorrow.

In Him,
Roger & Linda

Update November 14

Joyful Greetings from Acatlán de Juárez, Mexico!

So many good things going on - drug wars and gang violence and a crisis in the economy...all notwithstanding, God is moving in Mexico!

We had 3 people pray for salvation at Angulo last Sunday - another precious soul came to the Lord at the Stadium Mission. One of our pastors and his wife (Octavio and Rosalba) conducted 3 funerals and in all of them a large number of people prayed to receive the Lord.

In a few minutes I leave the house to go and participate in the annual Marcha para Jesús - we expect a really large number of people to march. I will report on that later.

I am attaching a PDF copy of our October Good News from Mexico letter.

Linda has had a rough week - a chronic sinus problem causes congestion and then coughing. The doc gave (well, no prescribed) some medications. We anointed them and prayed over them and believe with that we will see some improvement. Your prayers are a strong and effective medicine, too. Thanks for praying.

Gotta go to the Marcha - Have a wonderful time in th Lord's House tomorrow - and God bless you "real good."

In Him,
Roger & Linda

Update November 7

Greetings and Blessings to you from Acatlán de Juárez:

“Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.” Jude 24-25

We had three people come to the Lord last Sunday. We had a visiting minister, Armando Rhon, Mexico’s director for INSTE (a theological institute by extension) for the graduation of several of our people. It was a good service.

Several more people indicated a desire to receive the Lord in 2 funerals that our pastors conducted last week.

Linda has had a very sub par week. We appreciate your prayers for her.

Your prayers are a real strength and encouragement to us here. They really do make a difference.

Have a great day in His House tomorrow.

In His Grace,
Roger & Linda

Update October 31

Greetings and Blessings from Mexico.

" And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work." 2 Cor. 9.8

Well, while the world celebrates death and the devil - we celebrate a Living Lord and Reigning King! His Name is Jesus!

Last Sunday 4 new people prayed at the Angulo Center, and another at the Tepic mission and 2 more at the Estadio Mission. Some others prayed to receive the Lord in the youth meeting, but I don't have that report in hand yet. Praise God for new believers - may the Lord help us to teach them become disciples.

A couple of youth meeting pics are at the end of this update.

I have been in conference the last 2 days, after Linda and I took two days in the middle of the week to for a break to catch our breath.

I want to ask you to pray with us for a car replacement - the old Blazer is losing its call! Picture a 2007 or 2008 Honda medium size SUV...and believe with us for it, will you? Thanks.

Linda is doing better, but the sinus drainage cough persists. So your prayers there are appreciated, too.

Have a great day in God's House tomorrow...celebrating Him and His Life in us ... and through us to a hopeless world.

Thanks again - so much - for your prayers.

In Him,
Roger & Linda

Update October 24

Greetings of Joy and Peace from Mexico -

I was reading this morning about "so great a salvation." (Heb 2) And the resources we have in The Living Word and the Throne of Grace.! (Heb 4) No wonder we can declare with Paul, "We're more than conquerors" through Him. (Rom 8)

It was a rather calm week - we had 5 people pray last week. I made Agua Viva program CD's for November and we are getting ready to go rest for three days.

Its been a busy time, and will be busier in November and December. We thought we'd try to get ready for it.

You'll never know this side of Glory how important your prayers are to us and the work here. Thank you for praying.

Have a joyful and fulfilling day tomorrow in God's House where you are.

In Him,
Roger & Linda
