Update April 29

Greetings and blessings from Mexico on a warm Spring day!

"See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil." Ephesians 5:16-17

We had a nice surprise visit from a young lady last Sunday. She lives with her family in California, now, but the whole tribe of them got saved here at the Angulo Center church many years ago. Here's a little of their testimony.

Eloisa was an older daughter in a very religious (but unsaved) family. She began to listen to our radio program, and when we started coming over from León, Guanajuato on Saturdays for all day service, she started to attend.

I learned that she was actually teaching catechism lessons to the children in her neighborhood. She told me, "I like what you all teach better than the lessons they assign me, so I have been teaching your lessons to the children."

Of course, she was discovered and relieved of her volunteer duties. But in the meantime she got saved and filled with the Holy Spirit. Her parents were not happy that she was attending our services and tried to make her stop. However, Eloisa was in her thirties and they really couldn't make her stop. They finally resorted to sprinkling her with holy water when she got home from our services! (Decontamination, I guess.) Her mother was epileptic and had seizures. Her father and two grown brothers were alcoholics. Eloisa began to fervently pray for them to get saved. And God answered her prayers! Her brothers got saved and delivered and married two of our beautiful young ladies from the Center. Her father got saved and delivered from alcohol, too, and her mother got saved and healed.

Linda and I are getting things ready for the trip to Pensacola for the annual missions conferences there. Linda's strength is up a little; we need it to be good for the long walk in the DFW airport from landing gate to immigration. Her weight is slightly improved, too. Would you pray for added strength and weight-gain for her?

I was so blessed this week when I received an email from a high school classmate telling me that he prays for us on a daily basis! What an encouragement! You don't really know how much your prayers mean to us and the difference they do make! Thank you for your prayers! Have a blessed day in Father's House tomorrow and a joyful week ahead.

In Him,
Roger & Linda
