Update October 17

Greetings from smokey Maravillas.

" I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works." Psalm 9:1

The area we live in is called "Maravillas." (Marvels) The street we live on is called maravillas, too. And it truly is marvelous. But right now, they are burning off last year's fields, getting ready to plant again. And there is a lot of smoke in the air. And to prove we live in the country - I ran a snake out of the yard this morning. A little one.

As I reported, the teaching sessions at John Whitener's school last Saturday was a blessing to me. Then, on Sunday Linda and I drove 2 1/2 hours to Tepic and preached at our mission outreach there. It was a good service with fellowship time and meal afterward. Then a time of fellowship with Pastor Martin and his family in their home. It was a 12 hour day - but God gave Linda strength, and I believe we were all blessed and encouraged.

We had 4 come to the Lord last Sunday - and three young people prayed for salvation with our youth pastor. (It was their day off. They took a couple of our young people to the park for recreation - met some other young people, and three of them received the Lord. PTL.

The Los Fresnos mission (in the city of Tlajomulco) continues to grow. We have rented a larger house there for the meetings. (Photo) There are over 5,000 families living in the area - a great mission field! please pray for Pastor Octavio, Rosalba and the work there.

As always, your prayers are so important and play a powerful role in the ministry here. Thank you so much!

Have a great day in the Lord's House tomorrow. May there be "showers of blessing" on every service.

In Him,

Roger & Linda

Update October 10

Brief greetings and email this Saturday afternoon. We're getting ready to leave early tomorrow for Tepic, Nayarit - to visit the mission congregation there.

Please pray for us, the trip and the service there. Linda is doing better - she feels up to the trip - that is progress! But please keep praying.

We had 4 pray for salvation last Sunday - up four from the previous Sunday!

I had a very enjoyable time with the students at John and Judy Whitener's Fire from Heaven (Fuego del Cielo) institute today. I taught four hour long sessions. Very receptive class.

Thanks again for you prayers for us. They DO make a big difference!

Pics of the Fire class.

Have a wonderful day tomorrow with God's people in His House.

In Him,

Roger & Linda

Update September 26

Greetings and Abundant Blessings from Acatlan de Juarez, Mexico!

“Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” Mt 18-19-20

What a wonderful Heavenly Father we have. God is answering so many prayers these days – it IS exciting!

We had 12 people pray for salvation last week. Two more prayed to receive the Lord in the Tepic mission, too.

We have been praying daily for some time for the Internet ministry of Eric Célérier of Paris, France, called GodRev.com (Looking for God.) We have been praying for 2500 people a day to pray to receive Jesus as Lord. Lately there have been over 2500 every day. I think we’ll start praying for 3,000 a day! A Pentecost every day on GodRev.com. Wonderful!

Several of our daily Agua Viva radio programs go out over the Internet as well. What a great potential audience for the Gospel.

Tomorrow we have our quarterly pastors’ meeting. Would you pray for safe travel for the pastors, coming from 5 different states to Guadalajara. And, of course, please pray for the meetings, too. We go from 11:00 A.M. to 5:30 P.M.

I am attaching this month’s Good News from Mexico – Vol 44, Issue #9. God has been so good, so faithful. All praise to Him forever!

And your faithful prayers mean so much to us in the work here. Thank you for praying for us.

Have a blessed day in God’s House tomorrow.

In Him,

Roger & Linda
