Update September 19

Greetings and blessings of Grace and Peace,

"How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!" Isaiah 52:7

God is so GOOD! In the midst of all kind of turmoil and drug wars, threats, kidnappings, tortures and assassinations, we have peace because our God is on His Throne and in perfect control! One of our pastors was called on the phone this week - was threatened concerning the safety of his three boys if he didn't pay them $45,000 pesos. Pray for Rafa and the pastors and businessmen in Mexico, please.

We celebrated Independence Day (16 de Septiembre) on Thursday. It's Mexico's Bicentennial of Independence and 100th anniversary of the revolution. We had a great service.

Seven people prayed for salvation, a band played for our worship service - happy Mexican style music with a joyful message of life, liberty and victory in Jesus.

Linda is doing well, better than before. But don't quit praying yet, please. I am fine as usual. Praise God.

I'm sending a couple of pics of the Independence day celebration.

Your prayers are a REAL blessing. We do appreciate them.

Have a joyful day in His House with His people, celebrating our liberty and life in Christ.

In Him,

Roger & Linda

Update September 12

Greetings and blessings of Grace and Peace.

"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee." Isaiah 26.3

This is such a conflict-, war-filled world. So much stress, fear and anxiety. But WE have "Peace, Peace." Perfect peace. Our minds are stayed on Him and His Word!

We had 7 people pray for salvation last week at the Angulo church, and Tepic mission had another.

I received an email from the pastor in Merida - they baptized 30 new believers last week. I used to be on the radio there. A change of station personnel and my program was removed. But the pastor has a lot of the CD's from when I was on the air. He is lending them out to people. They listen, invite friends, and people are still coming to the Lord, getting blessed and encouraged through the programs. Praise the Lord.

We celebrated Jose Cruz' birthday Monday night. He is 99 years old. We all had a good time, He talked about how life was in Mexico during the revolution and other interesting details.

In one photo little perlita (Pearl) is standing in front of Bro Jose. He is 99. She is 3. 96 years difference in years! My, my!

Thank you so much for your prayers for us. I preach at two of our Centers tomorrow, and for the large Independence Day celebration on the 16th. We are believing for a good response and many new believers.

Have a wonderful day in Father's House tomorrow.

In Him,

Roger & Linda

Living Under God

Greetings and blessings.

God spoke to me about praying daily for (1) our troops overseas, for divine protection and (2) against terrorist bombs being effective and taking innocent lives anywhere on the planet this day.

I invite you to join me in those prayers daily.

I was reminded of th story about George Washington's miraculous protection. The URL below tells the story. I thought you might find it interesting...inspiring.

Have a wonderful day - He made it, Ps 118.24

Update September 5

Greetings and blessings in Jesus.

"He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust." Ps 91.1-2

Why do early? Because we have been having much problem with this TelCel internet service.

I thought I had better get this out while I am abl to get online. Please pray for us concerning that (Internet problems.)

Four days ago 12 year old Dolores Alejandra Carmona was hit by a car. Two days ago she died. She was very active in the Los Fresnos mission - and truly loved the Lord.

One of our pastors, Octavio, ministered at the funeral service. Over 100 people were attending and about 60 of them prayed the prayer to receive Jesus as Lord and Savior. Pray with us for the follow up - many of them were from Dolores' family and the Los Fresnos mission.

Violence and drug wars continue to fill the headlines in Mexico - but difficult times produce open hearts many times - pray it will be so in Mexico...until the violence ceases.

We are fine. Linda is doing OK.

Thanks do much for your prayers for us, Mexico and the ministry here.

The photos are of Dolores Alejandra. Please pray for her family and the Los Fresnos mission.

Have a wonderful Labor Day weekend - and shouting good time in God's House with His people Sunday.

In Him,

Roger & Linda
