Update January 25

Greetings and blessings in the Name of our "poderoso Gigante" (Jer 20.11, Spanish) Powerful Giant! David knew what a REAL giant looked like - Goliath couldn't scare HIM!

YOUTH MEETING
We had our quarterly united youth meeting last night (Saturday.) Good meeting, lots of life and energy! A couple of our churches joined with neighboring churches for a weekend of evangelism. 60 people prayed for salvation so far.

ANGULO LAST SUNDAY
We had 9 people come to the altar for salvation last Sunday – most were young people. Praise God! The Tepic mission held 2 neighborhood outreaches last week; 11 people prayed for salvation in one and 13 in the other.

REGIONAL PASTORS’ MEETING
We celebrate our quarterly pastors’ meeting Monday here in Guadalajara. Don Loose from Florida will be ministering to the ministers! We’ll keep him busy Sunday, too, preaching in three of our local Center churches.

THANK YOU FOR PRAYING
Linda is much better. Also we need your prayers for the meetings this weekend
And our prayers for you are for a hallelujah day in the Lord’s House today!

In Him,
Roger & Linda

Greetings and blessings in the Master's High and Holy Name!!

Hold on to you hat! This year is buzzing, flying and its going to be hard to keep up - with the time and with what the Lord has planned!! Isaiah said, " When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him." and "So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun."

We had a great weekend in Vallarta; were pleased to see how the Lord is building His church there. And our own Center there is being a part of that. One young lady prayed for salvation. Several other people came in the afternoon, as a result of the radio program. Some good radio testimonies were shared, too.

I discovered that our program is being played 3 times a day there (we are paying for once a day) and that many prisoners are listening to it, as well.

Meanwhile...back at the ranch...4 people received the Lord in the service here in Guadalajara.

Checking details on this - but one of our cell leaders was called to minister to a dying man...who died, even though they prayed for him. However, at the hospital, 4 hours later he revived! He and his wife believe it was in answer to the prayer prayed before he died! Not exactly raising the dead, but a life was spared! PTL.

Linda is really down...a very bad cold and even worse cough. Please pray for her. And for Brother Don Loose who is ministering this week in and around Guadalajara before going over to Michoacan to minister another week.

Have a wonderful Lord's Day. Thanks for your prayers for us and the Lord's Work here. (Pics of the Pastor Juan and Rosie at Vallarta - at the present rented facility and at the land they have already purchased.)

Roger & Linda

Update January 9

Greetings and blessings this Friday morning.

Why Friday instead of Saturday? Because we leave in a little while for Puerto Vallarta to minister this weekend in our Center there. I need for you to pray for us on this five hour trip. It is through a lot of mountainous roads and somewhat dangerous. We return Monday - need your prayer cover again for that trip. Thanks.

Linda and I began our 43rd year in Mexico last week. Looking back, we can only say, "My! How faithful God has been!" We came with four young children, $90 dollars a month in promised support, and God has kept us here and met every need. Praise be to our Heavenly Father!

In 2008 we had 183 people pray for salvation here at the Angulo Center. While we praise the Lord for each and every one of them - I still see the multitudes without Christ - lost and doomed if we don't reach them. Please pray for multiplied fruitfulness this year for His Church in Mexico.

Have a great weekend - be blessed with Family in His House Sunday. And thank you for your prayers!

Roger & Linda

Update January 4

Greetings and New's Year's Blessings!

Three verses of Scripture express my New Year's prayer for you - Isaiah 58.11, 3 John 2 and Psalm 65.11. May His Words manifest abundantly in you life in 2009.

Report from our new Tepic mission - they have already started another outreach to and area of San Blas (one hour from Tepic.) Last week 12 new people prayed for salvation in the first service there.

Here in Guadalajara, Linda and I took a few days to just rest and get caught up at the end of the year. But we're ready to hit the ground running in 2009!

Next Sunday we will be in Puerto Vallarta ministering in our church there. Please be praying for that five hour trip and ministry. Today we are ministering here in the Guadalajara Angulo Street church.

As we enter the activities of thgis new year, we are greatly encouraged and deeply blessed by your prayers for us and this ministry. We depend so very much on those prayers as we carry out our mission here.

Have a great day in His House today with some of His family in your area.

In Him,
Roger & Linda

Merry Christmas - Happy New Year

Linda and I wish you a blessed Christmas season and a new year filled with significant achievement and fruitfulness as we serve the King of kings together.

Howard Thurman wrote these words...

"When the song of the angels is stilled,
when the star in the sky is gone,
when the kings and princes are home,
when the shepherds are back with the flocks,
then the work of Christmas begins:
to find the lost,
to heal those broken in spirit,
to feed the hungry,
to release the oppressed,
to rebuild the nations,
to bring peace among all peoples,
to make a little music with the heart…
And to radiate the Light of Christ,
every day, in every way, in all that we do and in all that we say.
Then the work of Christmas begins."

Happy New Year.

Update December 14

Greetings and Heavenly Blessings!

Just got in from the youth service of our missions week. Traffic was terrible, and attendance hindered, but it was a GOOD service. The theme, "From Mexico to the Nations - The Process and Practical Steps to the Field"

We had a good missions banquet last night, too. Expecting a great closing service tomorrow. Your prayers are much appreciated! Last year the people gave $108 thousand pesos in faith promises. We are believing for more this year - economic crisis or not.

We had 4 more people "pray for salvation" last Sunday. We say it that way - time tells whether they "got saved" or not.

This coming Saturday (the 20th of December) is the big stadium meeting. Biggest Gospel event EVER in Guadalajara. PLEASE PRAY! God bless you; may Sunday be a victory day for Jesus - and an abundant harvest time.

As always - thank you ever so much for your faithful prayers!

In His grace,
Roger & Linda

P.S. Xerox will help you send a Christmas card to a servicemn over seas: http://www.letssaythanks.com/SendCard.asp

Update December 7

Greetings and Blessings from Heaven.

I am going to try to get this done before this computer quits again!

Its been a busy week - pastors' meetings, planning meetings for the big Dec 20 Stadium meeting. Do keep that in your prayers, please. Nothing like it has ever been done here in Guadalajara.

And...we start our annual missions week tomorrow. Please pray for this service...this week. Our emphasis this time is on how these young peope with a call to missions can GET there.

Sunday services tomorrow and the 14th. Thursday night service - Friday missions banquet, Saturday youth meeting and finish Sunday.

We had 3 people pray for salvation last week. Sent Bro Martin to Tepic today (he's moving there today) and celebrated a beautiful "quinceaƱera" (15 yr birthday) for Lizbet Orozco last night.

Expecting great things tomorrow...and all week. Your prayers are a large part of the victories here. We praise God for you and your help!

In Him,R
oger & Linda
