Update April 25

Psa 121:8

The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore. Linda and I leave in just a few minutes for Ada, OK. We will be with long time friends, Vernal and Patsy West and the pastors and people at Grace Christian Fellowship there this Sunday.

Monday we drive to Memphis to see my sister and brother in lasw there, then on toward Pensacola and the missions conferences there. Thanks for praying for us all along.

God has answered so many prayers these past few days. What joy to serve such a wonderful God. Reading Deut 10 this morning...All He is, has done and does...He is our praise! Al He asks of us is to fear Him, walk in His ways, love Him and serve Him.

3 People came to the altar Sunday for salvation in the Angulo Center. We had a good trip to Texas and a good MRC board meeting in Dallas. Saw grand and great-grand children. God is GOOD!

Have a joyful time worshiping Him in His House.

In Him,
Roger & Linda

Update April 18

Greetings and choice blessings from Desoto, Texas.

Linda and I are in the States for the first time in 2 years. Saw our sweet new great grand daughter (finally) and part of the rest of the family. Will see more next week.

Our MRC board meeting is Tuesday (20 April) and we would appreciate your prayers for us at that time.

We had 5 people pray for salvation in the service at Angulo last week, plus others in several of the cell meetings.

Linda is doing well on the trip thus far - but we appreciate your prayers for her strength throughout the whole trip (Ada, OK, Memphis, New Orleans, and Pensacola.)

Eleuterio Vazquez came through the brain tumor (cancer) surgery very well. He is recuperating (still in the hospital.) We are praying that there will be no negative effects on brain functions as a result. Thanks for praying.

God bless you - have a wonderful time worshiping God in His House tomorrow.

In Him,
Roger & Linda

Update April 11

Saturday Greetings, looking toward Sunday, and expecting great things from God.

The Lord gave us the word, "dramatic" on the first day of the year. And we believe He will do dramatic things in the lives of His people, and the ministry of His Church. ("Ministry", singular, because we really hace ONE, found in Matthew 28.18-20.)

"Then Jesus came up and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, as you go, disciple all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you each and every day until the end of the age." (ISV)

I am sending our April Good News prayer letter as an attachment (PDF) and most of the recent news is in it. So this will be really short.

Linda and I leave for Texas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Louisiana and Florida on Tuesday the 13th. We'll be back home here on May 14th. Your prayers for our travels are much appreciated - especially for Linda's strength.

So, thank you for your prayers; have an exciting, exhilarating time with His people in His House tomorrow.

In Him,
Roger & Linda

Update April 4

Greetings and Blessing in the Name of our Risen Lord!

I am attaching again this year my favorite BC drawing.

“And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly, and tell …” Mt 28.5-7a

“Go and tell” That short phrase is used a number of times in different contexts, but here it expresses succinctly our Commission.

He arose, taught the 11 about the Kingdom of God, commissioned them to take that gospel to the nations and then ascended back to Heaven. In a few days He sent the Holy Spirit to empower us to effectively “go and tell.”

So much of earth’s people STILL don’t know He was born, much less risen. Thank you for helping us be here to preach that Kingdom Gospel, and prepare Mexicans to carry it to the nations in their generation.

We had 5 people pray for salvation in the service last week. Some others in the cell meetings, as well. At least 74 people have prayed for salvation at the Angulo Center this first quarter. Praise God. Still…so many yet to be reached.

Nine new believers were baptized last week at the Angulo Center. (Photo below)

Have a wonderful glorious time worshipping our Living, Life-giving Lord today!

In Him,

Roger and Linda

Update March 28

A busy week. Many blessings. A couple of bumps along the way ... Jesus carries us through.

In the youth meeting Saturday Octavio and Rosalba had 11 decisions for Christ. 4 more in the service Sunday, 3 others in Israel and Claudia's cell. In Anselmo's cell one man received the baptism in the Holy Spirit. Thank you Jesus.

I received a Facebook invitation to be friends with Jesus Palafox. What a nice surprise! He married Ruth - one of our young ladies from the Tabachines Center. Ruth was born blind, but her (then) recently saved mother brought her to the service one Sunday night and the Lord healed her blind eyes. Now they are serving God in Culiacan state, Mexico. What a joy to be in touch with them again. BTW - Ruth's mother, Anita came to us because of the Agua Viva program.

That reminded me of Aide and Mario. Aide fell out of the upstairs bedroom window when she was a toddler. She fell on her head onto the concrete carport floor below. She fractured her skull. The doctors gave a very pessimistic report. Her parents called long distance for prayer. (They were regular listeners of our Agua Viva program.) Jesus healed her instantly. Praise God. She grew up and married Mario and they serve God as Assembly of God pastors now.

We have a wedding this afternoon - please pray. The bride and groom are saved and active in the Angulo Center. Her parents are, too. But Ivan's whole family needs to be saved. And a lot of their unsaved friends and family will be there. Pray they will come to know Jesus.

Baptisms tomorrow at Angulo. Expecting a great day as we approach Resurrection Sunday next week. A very religious time in Mexico, but hearts are open during this season.

Have a great day in His House Sunday.

In Him,
Roger & Linda

Update March 21

Greetings in the Marvelous Name of Jesus!

Its been a busy week - like we like them. Next week, too. Haven't been bored in YEARS!A little tired, maybe, but not bored! Praise God.

I am attaching this month's "Good News from Mexico" prayer letter. (Vol 44 #3)

Thank you for your prayers for us and the ministry all these years.

We have meetings every day next week - and a wedding on Saturday. So we need your prayers.

Linda is better - praise the Lord. But still not back up to par, yet. Again, thanks for praying.

Let's all meet somewhere with our brothers and sister tomorrow, and worship our wonderful Heavenly Father!

John was joyful to remember that we are children of God. We should be, too. 1 Jn 3.1-2

God bless.

In Him,
Roger & Linda

P.S. Sorry - couldn't resist icluding a pic or 2 of our 5 mo old great grand daughter, Sydney Marie Mass

Update March 14

Greetings and blessings from Acatlan de Juarez, Mexico!

"Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present youfaultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen" Jude 24-25

Praise God - for dramatic answers to prayers, dramatic blessings in the work, and dramatic manifestations of His love, power and glory!

We had a wonderful service last Sunday at Angulo. 5 people prayed to receive salvation and a bunch of folks received the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. Several more came to the Lord in Tonala Center where God moved on the people powerfully, especially the young people. And the Puerto Vallarta pastor sent photos af the 16 people they baptized in water Sunday.

I just got an email from our youth pastor at Angulo - 8 people prayed for salvation in the youth meeting tonight! Praise the Lord.

Thank you for your prayers and support for us and the ministry here. As Paul said about the people at Philippi - we are partners together to reach the lost of this generation for Jesus.

Have a wonderful time in His House with His people tomorrow! And keep us in your prayers. (Linda is better and better. PTL. Thanks for praying.)

In Him,
Roger & Linda

Update March 7

Greetings and Lord's day blessings, (Sonday)

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
1 Cor 10.13

I just received an email from Merida, where we helped start a new church several years ago. They already have several missions, and new people coming to the Lord every week. In the village of Anaka 2 more people received the Lord this week. Its one of the newest missions.

We had 2 more people pray for salvation here last Sunday, too. And 2 healing testimonies. One Sister told how her 42 year old son was healed of elipepsy several months ago in the service - he hasn't had another attack since he received prayer.

She and her son were traveling together on a bus to Mexico City when the bus was hijacked by two armed robbers. They were taking everything from the passengers; wallets, purses, watches and jewelry. She and her son began to pray - and the robbers passed right by them. Like they were invisible. They didn't take anything from them. The only ones on the bus that escaped being robbed. PTL.

Tomorrow is missions Sunday here at Angulo. Pray for a good offering for missions and for people to come to Jesus for salvation and healing...and the baptism in the Holy Spirit!

I am preaching on "Power to Live as a Worshipper" - Holy Spirit power.
I am also preaching tomorrow afternoon at the Tonala Center across town. I am preaching on part of Jabes' prayer, "Enlarge my coast."

Linda is better - saw the doctor this week - got a good report. Still, her energy level is LOW!
Thanks for praying for her health.

Your prayers are such a blessing - we say it often. And we are so thankful for you and your prayers for us and the work here.

Have a great time in the House of the Lord where you are. Be blessed and be a blessing.

In Him,

Roger & Linda
